What is a Pocket Spring Mattress?

A pocket spring mattress is designed with a large number of springs (hundreds, or sometimes even thousands) that are individually wrapped in fabric pockets. Unlike traditional inner spring mattresses where the springs are connected, pocket springs work independently, with each spring designed to respond only to the pressure applied directly to it. This allows the mattress to “better support weight” and minimize motion transfer.
