The Manufacturing Process of Pillows and Latex Mattresses

Theproduction process of 100% latex pillows and mattresses is not complicated, as the main raw material used is only natural latex. The steps are as follows

1. In the first step, natural latex is mixed with specific chemicals used for producing pillows and mattresses. The formula may vary depending on each manufacturing factory.
2. After that, the mixed latex is placed into a foaming machine, where the density is controlled according to the customer’s requirements. The foam is then injected into pillow or mattress molds.
3. After the foam has been injected into the molds, the molds are placed into a steam tunnel for steaming. This process strengthens the rubber foam structure and is known as the vulcanization process. It usually takes about 45–60 minutes at a temperature of 90–100°C, depending on the thickness of each product.
4. After the steaming process is completed, the molds are removed and the products are taken to a washing machine to remove any residual chemicals.
5. The cleaned latex pillow and latex mattress products are then placed in a drying oven to remove any remaining moisture. After that, the products undergo a quality inspection to ensure they meet the required standards and customer specifications. This is the final step before the products are ready for sale.

Choosing 100% natural latex pillows and latex mattresses is an excellent option. Not only are they made from natural materials, but they also help improve sleep quality and support better overall health.
